When 'The Devils' Meet 'The Reds'.

A BIG CLASH WILL HAPPEN!

United are seven points clear of Liverpool and a win at Old Trafford would virtually eliminate the Merseysiders from the title race...

Match Facts :
  • Earlier this season Liverpool recorded their first league win over United since April 2004 by winning 2-1 at Anfield. The victory was Rafa's first over United in nine league attempts. It was also Liverpool's 50th over United in league history.
  • There has been only one goalless draw between the sides in the Premiership. That came at Anfield in September 2005.
  • Liverpool have won eight of the 33 Premiership meetings with United winning 18.
  • Liverpool's biggest win at Old Trafford came in November 1936 when they beat United 5-2.
  • The Reds have won three times in the last eight visits to Old Trafford but have lost each of the last four. Those victories are their only successes at United in the last 17 visits.
  • Should United win it will be the first time in their history they have won five in succession against Liverpool at home in the league.
  • A win on Saturday will give Rafa Benitez his 100th league win as Liverpool manager in his 181st game. Only Kenny Dalglish (167) and Bob Paisley (179) would have done it quicker. By comparison it took Alex Ferguson 231 games to achieve the feat.

p/s: I believe Liverpool can win tonight if they play as aggressive as what they have showed against Real Madrid..N I hope Benitez will not carry out any silly decision during tonight's match (e.g- substitute Gerrard for N'gog.NoOoOo!). May the best team wins! YNWA!!
